The "Greenest" Homes in Central Florida

Groninger Custom Homes builds green and sustainable homes in Winter Park, Orlando and Central Florida.


Two of our homes were finalists at the 2020 FGBC Awards Ceremony. Since these were the only two homes in Central Florida that qualified, we can make the statement that these are the greenest homes in Central Florida. So, has Green Certification lost it's appeal?

I’ve occasionally observed confusion and resistance surrounding conversations about green construction and lifestyles. I wonder why some people stumble while others are jumping on the green bandwagon, so I’ve decided to remove “green” from the discussion.


Would you like your home to be energy-efficient? Do you want water-conserving appliances and fixtures? Would you like a low-maintenance landscape? What about durable construction? Most of our customers want these things. This is Green...
